General History of the Car

This car was last owned by a mechanic that worked for me in the late 1960’s, when I had a BMC/Toyota dealership in Swampscott, Mass. He kept this vehicle in excellent shape.

Vehicle Description

This is a fine example of the MKll with hard and soft tops as well as the spats. This was the last year for the “A” series cars and was the transition to the MGB model carrying the “B"’s bigger motor. The MKll had horizontal tail lights and a different grill than earlier models. I don’t believe you will ever find another MGA equipped as well as this one. A real head turner!
