This 1984 GTV-6 has 52,000 original miles. It has a dark metallic grey exterior (Alfa color Anthricite) with black leather seats, red interior carpet and a sunroof. The car is street legal, but has been set up for SCAA ITS class (it does not have a roll bar). The previous owner ran the car only in Alfa Romeo club events. It is a wonderful daily driver that can moonlight at track events on the weekend. Engine The engine is an Alfa Romeo 2.5 L 6 cylinder. The motor has been upgraded to run in SCCA ITS class events, a street legal class. It has been updated with S cams, competition valve job, matched intake, stainless steal custom headers, new Stebro dual pipe exhaust, injection system reprogrammed and a K+N Filter set-up installed. Drive Train The car has a completely rebuilt Alfa Romeo Milano Verdi (the sedan that followed the GTV in production from 1986 to 1994) LSD transaxle. The synchos are excellent (no trouble with second gear, a common problem). The drive shaft has been rebuilt and balanced. The car also has a new Milano Clutch. Chassis This GTV has been moderately lowered and has a complete shankle suspension set-up with Koni shocks. Brakes The brakes have new cross drilled and ventilated rotors with Porterfield carbon Kevlar brake pads, both front and rear.
Wheels The wheels are 15” x 7” OZ alloy wheels with full tread Super Sport 225/50-15 tires. |
